Role: Project Manager
Status: Permanent
Location: Shanghai

This Project Manager role is accountable for managing the development and
execution of medium to large and moderate to complex project plans, and leading the
teams assigned to each project. This role will oversee multiple projects at a time-the
typical Acxiom project is an implementation lasting 2-3 months.
Reporting to the Delivery Leader based in Shanghai, the role has the following
duties and responsibilities:
· Defines, estimates, and schedules for medium to large projects.
· Implements and maintains quality systems and processes utilizing project
management and software industry standard best practices.
· Will participate, at the request of the Business Analyst, in the definition of
user and business requirements gathering and strategy development.
· Manages the identification and estimation of project cost, maintains
appropriate project cost analysis, delivers projects within approved budget.
· Lead project teams
· Manages the identification of resource requirements and staff resources in
accordance with the established budget and schedule for the project.
· Requests and negotiates with Business Unit Leaders for the appropriate
resources.
· Mentors the Associate Project Manager and other Associates in Project
Management methodology.
· Interfaces with client project managers and associated business leaders.
To be successful in this role, you must be:
· Project Management Institute (PMI) qualifications or equivalent
· Experienced in IT Development/Application Development projects (4-5
years)
· Proficient in project management methodology and system development
lifecycle
The essential skills for this role are:

· Solid verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong negotiation skills
· Excellent written and spoken English
While not essential, the following skills and experience are desirable:
· Good presentation skills.

· Exposure to Quality Assurance and Management
· An understanding of Direct Marketing and/or CRM systems
· An ability to understand how Acxiom's various products and services can
support and enhance a company's internal CRM system
