Business Solutions Analysts serve as leaders, facilitators and coordinators for the technical aspects of a project. They consult with customers to research their business information practices to assist in the design, implementation and validation of Acxiom products for customers. Business Solutions Analysts define tasks and develop a satisfactory methodology to provide project deadlines that meet customer and Acxiom quality expectations.

Reporting directly to the Delivery Solutions Leader, and working within a team of Business Solutions Analysts, the role has the following duties and responsibilities:

Define optimal industry solutions for clients by analysing their business objectives
Work with and support the Sales team in their selling of solutions
Develop the scope, project plans, cost and time estimates for projects
Negotiate agreements on system specifications and changes
Assist in organising the defined tasks into operational actions based upon event sequences, resource availability, and business constraints
Identify and implement quality standards and tactical/system reviews during the solution life cycle
Evaluate product deliverables and make modifications as necessary to ensure a quality solution
Perform risk analysis throughout the life cycle of the project and assess the range of possible solutions
Document project requirements
May require 50% time travelling in Asia

Skills and Experience

Essential Skills:
A minimum 5 years work experience within the IT industry - specifically with data warehouse and database management and the scoping, development and implementation of Data Warehouse (DW), Data Quality Management (DQM) Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and CDI (Customer Data Integration) type solutions.
Solid experience in, and a sound understanding of, Direct Marketing. Knowledge and experience in other industry or sectors such as banking, telecommunications, retail, etc would be an advantage
Solutions architect - the ability to design an Acxiom hosted DW, CDI or DQM solution using Acxiom's various products and services or custom solutions, to support and enhance a company's internal CRM solution
Client facing experience to provide:
Sales Support - the ability to articulate and present the value proposition of Acxiom products and services
Business Analysis - the ability to analyse a company's business requirements and/or issues using customer interviews and data analysis to determine Acxiom's business capability against these needs
Develop system test plans to ensure the solutions meets requirements
Project management experience
